ABA Professional Training Program (PTP) students and Studio Company earned awards at prestigious ballet competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), Universal Ballet Competition (UBC), World Ballet Arts Competition (WBAC) and many more in all categories. Information about additional awards earned by ABA students over the years can be found on our website.

All ABA graduates received job offers with professional ballet companies or entered major universities.

ABA believes that students need to share their gifts with the community so it looks for opportunities to perform free shows to underserved populations that may not have the opportunity to attend live arts unless it is brought to them.

At the Akhmedova Ballet Academy, we believe that extraordinary talent should never be limited by financial circumstance. For years, ABA has been committed to nurturing young dancers through world‑class training, mentorship, and a deep respect for the transformative power of the arts. Many of our students have gone on to prestigious companies and universities around the world—proof of what becomes possible when dedication meets opportunity.

Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to ensuring that financial limitations never stand in the way of exceptional talent. Your generosity will not only support a young dancer’s training, but will also strengthen the future of the arts in our community.

• Build our scholarship fund with any amount. To cover a student’s partial or full year tuition ($12,000). Summer programs ($4,800).

• Buy advertisements in Dance Magazine or Bethesda Magazine ($1,700 to $6,000).

• Help purchase professional stage costumes for our performances (E.g. one tutu cost $700) or professional stage backdrop ($8,000).

• Cover travel expenses such as renting of vans and other modes of transportation when the Academy travels to competitions and shows.

• Fund exceptional guest teachers for PTP Master classes and professional guest artists to perform with ABA students in productions ($1,500 to $3,000).

• Pay for the rental of performance space so that more audiences can be reached by the ABA dancers and ABA dancers can be supported by more audience ($3,000 to $7,000).

• Donate to the general operating budget, which includes rent, insurances, teachers, accountant, auditor, advertising, videographers, photographers, office supplies, etc.

• For a $10,000 contribution, the sponsor’s name will be displayed prominently on a plaque in the Academy.

• Help retire debt from build out of new studios assuring ABA’s future growth and continued success.
